Computing is a necessity in manufacturing and industry today. In addition to the many automated manufacturing processes that must be controlled by a computer, many applications such as stock control and shipping are now far more efficiently achieved with the help of a processor. This has all the benefits of traditional industrial computers such as being able to withstand dirt, dust, dust, gas, beats, bangs, heat and cold while having the flexibility of a normal PC.
