Round Hill is a great place to raise a family in the Tahoe area. Everything that applies to Tahoe vacationers applies to people living in the area as well. Lake Tahoe is nothing if not a family-friendly environment. The major reason is that children are welcome everywhere–save the casinos.
Even the casinos have gamble-free arcades attached to them so the kids will have something to do. If you live near a popular tourist spot, you can sometimes become jaded to the splendors of something you see every day. This is especially true in children. Its less of an issue in Tahoe because there is so much to do.

If youre tired of skiing one weekend, you can go boating, hiking or take a bikeride. If you want an indoor activity, go to a casino or a show. When people are on a week-long vacation they have to cram in as much as possible to get the most for their money. If you live in Round Hill, you can enjoy the sites at a leisurely pace.
Getting jaded really isnt much of an issue when theres so much variety. One concern of living at a popular tourist spot is it might feel like living in an amusement park. This isnt true in Tahoe. It is a fine place to raise a family. It is a town like any other, with good schools and good communities. The tourist trade brings in so much money that a place like Round Hill has more resources than the average town.
