California Real Estate: Skyland

While in Skyland, Nevada, why not go boating? It is one of the most popular pastimes at Lake Tahoe, ranking up there with skiing. People who live at Lake Tahoe either have their own boat or have a rental company that they go to again and again.

Wherever you set out, the lake is equally amazing. South, north, west, or east, there may be no better way to see this pristine setting. Sitting on top of Heavenly Resort is one thing, but floating on the wide blue lake with the 360 degree view is quite another. Personally, Im a boating man myself. I find nothing so peaceful as staring out at an expanse of water. Skyland is a good vantage point.

Renting A Boat at Skyland
The resorts at Lake Tahoe make it easy. You can rent everything you can think of–skis, snowboards, sailboats, snow shoes, canoes, even lessons for all of the above. Most advanced skiers wouldnt be caught dead without their own pair of skis, but if youve never seen a ski slope or sailboat, there are avenues for the ultra-beginner.

If youre looking to buy a house at Skyland, no doubt you own a pair of skis. Buying a boat and renting dock space is yet another expense. If you can afford it, Im jealous. Otherwise, renting a boat can be a good bet. If you are deciding on the cost of a vacation home, you should include a boat rental fee because a Lake Tahoe trip wouldnt be complete without time spent on the lake itself.
