I wouldn't purposefully subject my daughters to that BS. Unless you have those same understandings, I'm sad to say the relationship is almost certainly doomed. If you are both in high school, she may refuse altogether. This is especially true when you are around others. I excused canceling plans, seeing each other only once a week, not being able to text much, etc.
