Me and few of my friends visited last saturday Mouline Rouge in Amsterdam. We have never seen anything like this. Some acts were really funny and sexy but what was really amazing was live sex show. Really action sex,in one moment we had shock,it looked as if the man broke the legs of his partner. We canot complain for nothing, also barstaff was very friendly. Great evening though, fully recommend it. We dont understand why are so many negative reviews,we really had a lot of fun. We were taken to the nearest seats bad view on the side of the stage not around the bar. First act was a couple who had 'sex' to the rhythm of Rammstein!
A Sex Worker Takes On "Moulin Rouge"
I was mercilessly bullied, afraid to go to school each day, and struggling with with suicidal ideation. If I could just be Satine, I thought, everything would be better. I ended up kind of getting my wish, but in a different way than I expected. As a teen, I always imagined that being a sex worker would feel exploitative. After having to leave my job for a full-time graduate school program and getting denied for receiving food stamps, I joined Seeking Arrangements and had individual clients, then transitioned into working at lap dancing parties, and I now work at fetish parties. Does having a man suck on my toes for money feel empowering? Not really.
The Moulin Rouge and the Sex Shop District
Translated by Kate Norman — one year ago. Original text by Adriana Leano. When we arrived, we had to ask a few people to help us find our way around so luckily, this it did not take as long to get there compared to what we thought it would. Before arriving at the Moulin Rouge, we walked through an avenue that had a bit of innuendo about it: it had lots of sex shops with their windows wide open. For this reason, my friend and I decided to look into all these shop windows until we dared to make the trip inside to see all the hilarious things there. Inside the shop we could see every type of video covers, as well as costumes for women such as a rabbit, student, doctor, policewoman and others At the end of this street basically leads directly to the Moulin Rouge -. As we were there during the morning shift, there were not many people looking at the things we found there, instead there was a large group of people on the pavement between us and the road that the Moulin Rouge was on, most people were taking photos. The Moulin Rouge, that is to say "the red windmill" in Castilian, can be found with red flowerpots in the entrance, it has an area to buy tickets on the right hand side, as well as its main door on the left. There is a film that maybe many of you have seen, but in my case I had never seen it before, I only saw the images found on the ticket office window that show the popular performances at the moment.
We finally watched Moulin Rouge. I wanted to give it a good review after the bad review but there is a 3 months moratorium. It's quite a good show actually - like a topless version of Cirque du Soleil. The street is lined with sex shops but it's actually safe - much safer than the Metro at midnight when there are drunks on board yes, they allow alcohol in the subway in Paris. Pigalle is good for one and only one reason only - good bus connections with main attractions. Bus number 67 goes to Louvre. Mountmarte is within walking distance.
