Just know what your getting into. December 16, Dating a mormon girl. Please realize I know how the church works, was extremely active and raised good kids. Do you think that is too draining too.
And after dating a few months we both knew we wanted to get married. Besides the obvious brain damage that you will be made to suffer your entire married life, there are future kids to think about. In her obviously orthodox Mormon paradigm dad's a bishop, she went to BYU and on a missionunderstand that she believes her husband must be an orthodox Mormon and get married to her in the temple. But now, we embrace our spiritual differences. I am also certain that there are callings and opportunities that I would have had, were I married to a faithful LDS woman, that I have missed. Calls during thanks giving and Christmas makes me really upset. It really helped to make me feel better.
I'd just like to add that unless you're happy being with her as a full believing Mormon, don't stick around in the hopes that she'll de-convert. Don't get her hopes up too much - in return ask her to do something to research your views. I usually mean exactly what I say. I am not quite a spouse of a doctor. They know that they are the best. It's winter here and I figured she was layering for warmth.
If she is as real deal as you say she is, she believes this also. For example,is it reasonable to expect sex 1x a week. Raising our children as believers is proving to be very tricky.
