You can always expand these into group dates by inviting other couples along, which may make her more comfortable in the early stages of your relationship. She is going to be taught for the rest of her life in the church the importance of missionary work and eternal families, and Priesthood in the home. It may not seem like a big deal now, but eventually it will probably surface that at best, the church impacts and influences her behavior in almost every area, at worst, it dictates it.
